Robin Fritz earned a B.A. in journalism and an M.B.A. from Indiana University, and works as a financial writer (25-plus years) for an institutional consulting firm in Chicago.  She coordinates the internship program for the Division of Business and teaches business communication and professional writing classes as an adjunct lecturer for IUPUC – Indiana University/Purdue University’s joint campus in Columbus, Indiana.  Additionally, Ms. Fritz has freelanced for Farm Indiana Magazine, the Greensburg Daily News, eHow, Garden Guides and for Chron.com, the online business portal for the Houston Chronical.  Ms. Fritz has also worked as a news correspondent, was a speech writer for the Indiana Senate, and was public information officer for the Indiana Dept. of Education.

 Hello. My name is Hugh Hamill. I am a Junior at IUPUC. I am currently studying to attain a B.S. in Business Administration. I am a full time student at IUPUC, as well as a full time employee for Cham Technologies, which is located in Columbus, Indiana. I plan to continue with school in an attempt to get an M.B.A.  after attaining my undergraduate degree. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read a little bit about me.

My name is Zeke Raymer, and i’m currently a Junior at IUPUC studying Psychology and English Literature. I’m employed as both a tutor in the Academic Resource Center and a Teaching Assistant to Dr. Lisa Siefker-Bailey. I’m currently trying to decide between going to grad school for Research Psychology, or selling my soul to Satan and going to Law school. Either way, I aim to keep humiliating the genre of post-modernism via questionable literature.

Hi, my name is Abigail Sabelhaus. I’m 18 years old and I live in North Vernon, Indiana. I’m currently a full-time student at IUPUC working towards a major in sign language interpretation. I love music both listening and performing. I play many instruments as well as sing. I hope that one day I may be able to make performing a career but if not then I would love to be and interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing.

My name is Lindsay McIntosh and I am a mother, nurse and student at IUPUC. I am currently studying for my bachelor’s degree in Medical Sociology. I have two wonderful boys and a puppy named Hershey! I work full time at a doctors office and squeeze in about six credits a semester to reach my goal of graduating with a degree that will allow me to help our older population. I love helping people!

Tiffany Riggs-Kredit earned an Associates Degree at Ivy Tech in general studies. She is working towards a business degree at IUPUC. Formerly a retail store manager and preschool teacher, she now enjoys working at her hometown school corporation coordinating school bus traffic.

Kaylee Burriss is a junior at IUPUC. She is working towards an accounting degree with a minor in sociology. While studying full-time, Kaylee is also a part-time employee at Target.

Hello! My name is Ryan Clark. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business with a concentration in finance and management at IUPUC. I work for Cummins Inc. and I enjoy my job very much. I love sports of all kinds. My favorites are basketball, mixed martial arts, football, and golf. I enjoy staying active and fit. I love to workout and eat healthy. Summer time is my favorite season. I am a Christian saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ. I love to read good books that can help me in every area of my life. Some of my favorite books or genres to read include, the Bible, History, Leadership, Biographies, and anything by John MacArthur. I’m a pretty simple man who enjoys people and a little peace and quiet. A fun fact about me is that I love to watch some old videos of Bob Ross painting. As he so famously says, “There’s no such thing as a mistake, just happy accidents.”

Hello! My name is Leigha Faivor. I am 24 and a part time student at IUPUC. I am studying for a Bachelor’s in Business with a focus in Accounting. I work full time as an Administrative Assistant at Ono Brothers General Contractors, located here in Columbus. Life is busy right now, working full-time and going to school along with church and trying to make sure my family and boyfriend remembers me (seriously, i’m so busy) is A LOT of work. Thankfully, my loved ones are here for me every step of the way. I’m sure it will be totally worth it!

Hi! My name is Marissa Whitis. I am 23 years old and a full-time student at IUPUC. I am studying for my Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration of Healthcare Administration. I am currently a server and bartender at Big Woods in Franklin, IN. If you have never eaten there, you are missing out! My favorite hobbies are hanging out with my animals (3 dogs and 5 cats. YES, I know I am crazy!) and chasing around my three nieces (a fourth one is coming February 15, 2019). I am also getting married to my significant other of nine years on September 20, 2019. Finally, right?! You could say my life is pretty busy!

Hey! My legal name is Kaylee Gaddie, but I usually go by mom. I have three kids aged four, two, and six months. My husband and I have been together for five years. I also have a Siberian Husky whom acts like a child herself. I am pursuing my Psychology degree at IUPUC. I have already  My main goal is to have my Master’s in Counseling. Life is pretty crazy between family, school, and my part time job. I would not have it any other way! I enjoy coffee immensely and sleeping for more than five hours at a time.

My name is Joshua Mills and I am currently studying sociology at IUPUC. I have completed an associates in elementary education at Ivy-tech community college and plan to further pursue my education after my current course work. I intend to work in social work aiding children in living lives driven toward wellness and security. I have plans to further myself in becoming a good human being and helping others live out their life in a way they deserve.

My name is Kyla Bessonov. I am a full-time student at IUPUC studying Business Management. I run a small etsy shop selling wood flower creations. I’ve been married for about six months now and am learning how to balance married life with school and running a shop. I love to read and am currently trying to learn to speak Russian as that is my husbands first language. I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting Nashville Indiana. Life has been great, and I can’t wait to see what adventure is next.

Hello my name is Tanu Bhatawadekar! I am currently a senior at IUPUC in the Psychology program. After I graduate I hope to get into a Masters program for therapy. When I am not doing assignments or reading textbooks, you will find me at Zen Fitness, a yoga studio, either taking a class or working at the front desk. Yoga has become a hobby of mine along with reading and watching crime or comedy TV shows. I love listening and learning Indian classical music and am hoping to continue my singing lessons in the years to come.

I enjoyed writing this blog post and stepping out of my comfort zone! When I am not in class or doing homework you can find me at Joe Willy’s Burger Bar waitressing! Being a waitress has helped my communication skills tremendously!

My name is Lauren Pauley and I am a full-time student at IUPUC. I am planning to graduate with an accounting degree and possibly pursue becoming a CPA. Currently, I am working at Rose Acre Farms.

Hello, I am Kamryn Cantu. I am currently a sophomore enrolled at IUPUC in Columbus, Indiana, which is also where I grew up. I also work at the school as the office assistant for the business devision. I am pursuing my degree in business with concentrations in both management and marketing. I would love to open my own business one day, but marketing and management are both very broad and can give me flexibility in what I want to do in case I change my mind. I would like to finish with a MBA and possibly move to Tennessee or one of the Carolinas after school.
